SWAf

Have you tried a search? And its SWFA.

Hidden Gem!! I have several and wouldn't sell any of them. Good glass and OUTSTANDING tracking! 100% reliable when cranking on the turrets all day.
p.s. I only have fixed power models. I have no experience with their variable power scopes.
Ok thanks that’s what I wanted to hear I’m sure their variables are good also .

Ok thanks I was thinking maybe 6 x 24 ?
Not sure your intentions and that's your business but I've taken the fixed 16x out 600, 800 and 1000 yards and found in to be about the perfect balance (in my view). Easily see splash or impact (steel) at 1000. It's a bit much inside of 200 yards but I personally really like having the same reticle size all the time when I get behind a target gun vs it getting bigger with more magnification. Now for hunting, I'm a variable power guy all day long.

Yes I’m going to use it for hunting coyotes

Is that thermal or night vision? How good is it in the dark ?
Night vision. Reviews are good for the price. No idea, don't have one. I've hunted coyotes a few times and then stopped once it became very clear to me that it's a night game.

I have a 3-15 on a deer rifle. No complaints.

I have an older (like 25 years old) 10x fixed. It has a mildot reticle and MOA turrets. Not the best combination, but I plead ignorance at the time. It works great, but harder for me to use than one with matching reticle and turrets.

Ok all good information

Their website used to have good deals on many brands. Now it's ONLY swfa. Strange.
They are moving solely to their own SWFA branded optics and getting out of the rest of the market. They’ve been stating this for awhile. That’s the reason for all the sales this past year or so. They have also hinted at modernizing and updating their scope lineup. A new reticle (Xmas tree) has been shown for a fixed 10X (and likely updated) coming soon.

Zero stops are coming and options on turrets. Turrets are still fairly tall but smaller profile outer diameter at the knurl look to be an option. Many have turned the knurles off to reduce the size so that’s a step in the right direction.

The new website also goes along with them moving in this direction. Btw so far your old account login doesn’t work on the new site. No idea if that’ll change going forward.

Excellent tracking and built like a tank with acceptable glass. There are many more expensive scopes out there this wish they tracked and held zero like those SWFA scopes.

Rumor has it many (Some?) models appear to be permanently backordered, but the trick is to actually pay to get on the backorder list and you’ll eventually get it.

The scope has a good reputation in some circles for tracking and durability. Heavy and not perfect glass, but great value. Rocslide has some scope tests that are very good.

I have a 10x. heavy build. feels like quality. good glass. I think it is underpriced for the quality you get. you would have to pay a bunch more to get a better scope. I have seen them get real cheap/price wise lately. don't know why. If I needed a new scope it would definitely be among the ones I would look at. realized I have the 10x, side focus. A nikon monarch is a good bit more expensive.
