I have a 12x. heavy build. feels like quality. good glass. I think it is underpriced for the quality you get. you would have to pay a bunch more to get a better scope. I have seen them get real cheap/price wise lately. don't know why. If I needed a new scope it would definitely be among the ones I would look at.

Also, a Japan made scope is pretty high quality almost by definition. Not an Austrian 1500 dollar scope, but about 1/5 less money. If you can afford it get an older Leupold 4.5x14, but get your checkbook out.

You'd be miles ahead buying an SWFA as far as being able to handle impacts and more importantly hold zero over time.

I have a 5-20 SS-HD that has stood up to a couple thousand rounds on SMLs, not light kickers. Tracks true and never had an issue with it.

Glass is still good but slightly behind scopes with the latest coatings in comparable priced scopes in other lines.

Been my go to scope for hunting because of the reliability.

I had a 12X that I sold and wish I had kept. I have a 20X and the HD 5-20 SS which is still as good as the day I bought it way back when Snipers Hide had the opening sale on them.
The 12X was great in the pdog fields. None of these 3 have had any type of failures. I see the 12X on the range with my buddy that bought it from me, it is serving him well.
