Labradars for sale?

When Garmin sets out to do something they seem to do well. It wasn’t all that long ago that the fish finder market was totally dominated by Lowrance and Humminbird. Garmin decided there was room for more competition and succeeded in a big way. This latest unit I have is a Garmin and it is pretty amazing. Love the live mapping feature where I can create my own contour maps on the fly that are far superior to any store bought map chip I’ve ever used.

I suspect this new Garmin chronograph will be a better mousetrap. Time will tell.

This is probably a good thing for folks on a limited budget. They may not have been able to afford
a Labradar, Speedtraker, or Magnetospeed (w/ all the goodies) prior to the Garmin release.
Now we're seeing huge discounts on both chronos that will make it more affordable for those folks.
Now, if you think the market is flooded with chronographs, wait until Ingenuity Precision releases his
powder throw/ trickler combo, then count the number of AT V3/ V4s that come up for sale.

There are more threads asking why this is than for sale ads.
New Garmin chrono.
Looks like this may be one factor. Only time will tell.

Could be a new brand coming.
Could be folks figuring out it did not make them a winner.
Could be frustration trying to get the Lab Radar to read. I was ready to get rid of mine till I read about the JKL Trigger. It's beyond me why they don't include one with the unit when sold.
I put my money on my third thought as being the major factor.

The Garmin is smaller, lighter, more versatile and doesn’t miss like the LabRadar does. Two trips to the range with a LabRadar and I was right back to a magneto.

I do plan to buy a Garmin when the market stabilizes.

Some like new toys to play with, kind of like when new Iphones come out. Must have the latest and greatest and thats fine, they can spend their money any way they like.
I really don't think anyone really buys a crono to make them a shooting god.

Ya know; One other thing I like about my Lab Radar is the fact
that it blocks the sun for me in the early hours when there is no
wind. Garmin ain't going to do that and Andi Scan failed that
test also......So I don't need to chase the next shiney......LOL

Well sorry boys but I own a Lab and don't have problems with it missing shots. And all I use it for is when I change loads or powder lots. There have been a lot of guys who ask me to help them with there's at the range and most guys either have the thing to far away from the barrel or not aimed correctly,
But I do have a Garmin coming!

I have a Labradar and have no problems with it.
And see no reason to buy a new toy when the old one does everything already.
Have you seen what this has done to the used labradar prices.
Some have to have the latest, greatest toy.

I would buy 2 more barrels than a new Garmin. The Labradar works about as good as it can get. Minus the size. But I won't forget it at the range. The large orange box will always say pic me.

Garmin??? Wonder how it performs when at a range with several shooters in close proximity.
