Labradars for sale?

I've been toying with the idea of getting a LR, but held out for the Garmin. Smaller unit for roughly the same price range.

The problem with labradar was they were not customer centric. Their service is great if you have a hardware issue, but people have been clamoring for more investment in the app and better connectivity. I mentioned several times to them that they could charge for a premium app that they could make ongoing investments. Lots of folks would pay $10 a month or whatever. Looking back the oehler with the receipt printer that I could tape to my target was pretty awesome. ;)

Well I'll just keep using the LR until it dies or something since it does all I need it to do. Buy then something even better will be out. I was never one to give up on a piece of equipment that works fine just for sake of having the latest greatest.
That about sums it up on my end. I'll probably snag one of the for sale
units for a spare.....

Ya know; One other thing I like about my Lab Radar is the fact
that it blocks the sun for me in the early hours when there is no
wind. Garmin ain't going to do that and Andi Scan failed that
test also......So I don't need to chase the next shiney......LOL
That might be the only good thing about a LabRadar vs the Garmin. Half glass full, I get it.

Garmin seems like a nice device, but have had no problems with my Labradar and it offers kinetic trigger, sd card data storage and downrange velocities that the Garmin doesn't. Consequently, don't see a compelling reason to spend $600 on another chrono, especially considering I only use for a final "data point" in load development.
