The Robinett V2.0 reamer is a .331 neck. It's also a smidge bigger at the back end that the original 30BR Robinett...of which there is only one real version.

When you mechanically neck up from 6 to .30, the 'lump' at the base of the new neck measures right at .337. Trying to do a 'no turn' 30BR on mechanically expanded 6BR cases.....the neck diameter would have to be large enough to accommodate the 'lump'.

Or send your brass to DJ brass service and have him neck up and neck turn your brass. He’s very reasonable. I also see P1zombie killer does brass as well.

For the .330 neck chamber turning the necks to .098 gives app. .3275 loaded neck diameter. This seems to be plenty of neck/chamber (bullet release) clearance and gives the carbon trace sine-wave pattern on the necks when fired.

I'm using a funnel - drop tube combo.

So far, I have 7 cycles on the Peterson. No problems . The powder sine wave on the lapua is a true wave . Just a perfect ring around the neck on the Peterson.
