Cool. Thank you. That’s exactly what I was looking forFirst year 15-55 known as 2013 model has capped turrets and they are 5 MOA per rotation. Also, there were silver ones produced that year as well and I don't think any of the ZS models were ever done in silver.
The ZS model has 10 MOA per rotation, uncapped (tactical style) turrets.
If the 2013 had capped turrets, I am assuming you would see the threads at the bottom of the turret for the cap? Which would be the tall tail sign?First year 15-55 known as 2013 model has capped turrets and they are 5 MOA per rotation. The turrets on the non zero stop model are what I call target type. They are rather plain, straight and small numbers. The ZS models have larger numbering and resemble the turrets of todays tactical style scopes. If the 2013 had capped turrets, I am assuming you would see the threads at the bottom of the turret for the cap? Having owned both, I don't think the clarity is any different on either model. Not to keep beating this thread to death, but is a non zero stop 15-55 worth buying at a good price? Is the clarity the same? Any real disadvantage?
The only advantage is one has zero stop and the other doesn’t. It really depends if you need zero stop or not.Not to keep beating this thread to death, but is a non zero stop 15-55 worth buying at a good price? Is the clarity the same? Any real disadvantage?
