Rimfire Gallery--Show Us Your Gun

Nothing special...a CZ455 Varmint .22 rifle.
I think that's called an American stock (?) and it looks to have some figure lurking under the CZ applied finish.
Standard CZ 20" bull barrel, RR-EO1 carbon-fibre bipod from Hardy Rifle NZ.
https://www.hardyrifle.co.nz/bipods
Scope is Nikko Stirling 8-24 x 50.
Has trigger spring and shim kit from Lowey (Australia).
Only fired 3 shots, pre Nikko scope, with it so far (bought it unfired).
Will be shooting it soon to set up scope and see how the rifle goes.
Yeah, I like it...nice wee rifle.

Just discoved this thread. :)

The first one is set up for the variation of NRA Smallbore Silhouette they shoot at a club in Middletown, OH. Kidd Supergrade, Victor Titan 22 stock, old Leupold BR-24 scope.

Kidd SG with Leupold BR24X 75.jpg

Just got this Anschutz/Exemplar pistol. 64 action with a 10" barrel, left handed. I replaced the scope with a Leupold 4.5-14X40 Black Ring Tactical scope.

I am curious about Precision Pistol so I got this Nelson conversion. This is new as well.

Redrockranger,
The Anschutz 2013 is a "clamp on" barrel with no threads as in a conventional barrel. The shank specifications are all you basically need to order a barrel, stick it in the action, throw a headspace go gauge of 0.043/0.042" and tighten 3 bolts to clamp the action around the barrel.

Abraxas Ballistics LLC <greg@abraxasballistics.com> machined the Benchmark barrel and cut the chamber with my 22 Nevius reamer. He does a great job.

How well does it shoot. Have you any targets to show us ? Ammo it likes. I have a 2013 and get thoughts of a new barrel @ times. Thanks.

just put this together Springfield 20-20,arken 6x24x50 and Harrell’s tuner with brake I’ll post pic of the results of the targets when I get to the range later this week first thing I did was go through the trigger polished everything reassembled and set the pull weight to 1 lbs. 1 oz. Zero creep or travel and the trigger breaks like glass I’ll be testing S/K ,eley, cci, norma, lapua, and rem. winchester, fiocchi

Holy S--T that stock is gorgeous!!!! I'm going to need a moment to myself....lol Give us some details please!!
The stock was made by Jim Peightal 10X-III action.. Shilen barrel Pro-X tuner.. (may take that one off and put a Harrell's back on it).

I really hope I'm done after two years of transformations...

My 3 CZs. The 455 with the 20" barrel is outshooting both of the 16.5" 457s at this point but I think I know why. I pillar bedded the 455 but the 457s have no pillars. That will change over the winter. All 3 have Yo Dave trigger work and/or lighter trigger springs alone. Scopes are Athlon BTR Gen II 10x40x56 and Sightron SIII 8x32x56. I have removed the short rails from the fore ends of all 3 in favor of the stud mount Sinclair F Class bipod.

Range pics are on my property and this is the 50 yard setup. The range goes to 200 yards. On this particular day at the end of May, the 455 outshined the 457 At-One so much that I've retired the 457 for now. Although I've not entered any competitions yet but I plan to and may get in on the last couple of the season where a friend shoots.

This rabbit hole runs DEEP!

One of the more interesting rifles I happened into over the years is a Stevens 417 that was rebarreled in 22 LR. The barrel has MS Risley marked on it. Turned out that Mr. Risley worked with Donaldson and Lovell to develop the R2 Lovell Cartridge - the "R" standing for Risley. Risley made the chambering reamers for the 22 R2 Lovell. It seems he made his own barrels as well. The rifle appears to have been done in the 1930s give or take and it still shoots. It did well with CCI Std Vel and RWS Target but not with SK Std Plus which surprised me enough I tried it twice. I do want to take it out sometime and try Eley Match and RWS R50 to see what it does but in any case, the old girl still shoots.

the std plus prob didn't work cuz your rifle likes the longer ammo better.. i have a guess the Ely won't shoot so good and you prob will have good luck with the RWS R50... that's my guess

My mid fifties Winchester 52C standard barrel no sight option with Unertl 1-1/4 10x dot reticule scope that is same vintage. Bought from member here who had had for 40+ years without use. Excellent condition all original. A very handsome rifle that has not been tinkered with. Have had a few older 52’s including Sporters but the C model is tops in the line. Shows little careful use and tight as new. Trigger breaks like glass but heavier than more modern rifles. It won’t shoot with my 1978 vintage Anschutz 1408 ED Super with 5018 match trigger but certainly better with modern ammo than what you had 60+ years ago. The 10x scope and larger dot makes precision shooting a challenge but I was happy with it. Prefers Midas + over Center X or10 X. Nice to see these older rifles still shoot.
