Rifle Ranges near Corpus Christi

I am daydreaming, and considering retirement options. What's available rifle range wise in the Corpus area?

We have a son down there, and possibly getting a place down there.

If there is one down there, I can guarantee you that the wind will always be blowing.

I go down there periodically for jobs and one of the Shipyards. You know why they have all of those wind turbines.

Use a map program to search for gun ranges. Many businesses now advertise via maps… especially on Google!

CC pistol and rifle club although you used to have to have two members bring you in VERY CLICKISH... Plus they had skeet it's been awhile since I lived there.... Staryes range is still open and the one in kingsville as mentioned.... As someone with family there and lived there 15 years I suggest you make sure living that far south is what you want... The only thing I miss about cctx is the fishing.... I moved from there to central Texas so my wife could retire and now that's done and I am not sure which ones worse.... If I live through the health problems I am having now I am moving somewhere in the middle asap... Half the stuff I owns already in boxes... Do not move to or around Austin Texas....

RS, I hope you get feeling better.
If we go to Corpus, we'll be splitting time with Kansas. I suspect we would try to avoid temperature extremes in both places.

If you do end up there the fishing and times that can be had on the national seashore ( aka north padra island ) are some of the best a lifetime has to offer... The cell phones don't work down there and you can drive down and have a spot where you can't even see another person.... Fish all night maybe even have a few cold ones... My wife and I spent many hours of our life down there...would every 5-6 hours a national park ranger drives down so if you need help its there and the people were alot of snowbirds because we fished mainly during the winter when it wasn't so hot.... People were always friendly and helpful if needed...
