6mm gt verses 6 mm dasher

given a 70 to 85 grain bullet wcitch is in your opion a better accurate round.looking for aground hog shooting compation case and load.your thoughts on this

Dasher without a doubt. Loved my GT, but it wouldn’t quite shoot like the BR Variants so I went back to them. Speed on the GT fell a little closer to the 6x47 than it did to a Dasher, and even though the GT is not “as” accurate, it’s more than good enough.

Great time to be looking at this, what with the 87 HVLD being so plentiful.

Another thing to consider in regard to the GT, is that bullet choice. I built two GT's for woodchuck shooting this spring and both of them would not feed reliably from a standard 308 M5 Mag with short bullets. Worked fine with 105 and such, but the short bullets liked the BR mags significantly more.

I am suggesting the 6xc because it was made to feed in a standard short action. Although, I have seen the 6gt shoot quite well, I don't think it is better than a 6xc. One can easily shoot the 6xc softer.

Dasher with the tiny short neck is something I would never suggest for someone who is wanting to shoot a variety of bullets.

Skip both and get the 6xc. Tubb has $82 per 100 brass and he is never going to not have brass. Large and small rifle primer.
