6gt, 6xc, or 6 Creed for lighter projectiles?

The shit of it all is your chopping it at 18 inches. When you chop the barrel that short NOTHING is going to perform as optimal and anything and everything will have lower numbers for velocity. So in the end it doesnt matter. Better off basing it off whats easier for you to reload.

I have a 6XC and 6BR. Stay simple, your cartridge doesnt matter statistics wise.

Personally I like the 6xc with 10 twist with 80 and 88 gr bullets
+1 ^^^ I have one of those too. It thrives on 70gr NBT, 75gr Vmax's, 80gr Blitz, and 85gr HPBT. Cycles out of a magazine with no issues, and very easy to load for.

For a while I also had a 6xc in 12 twist it shot really well too, but someone else wanted it wor$e than I did and I came to my senses and went with a 10tw. JME. WD

I have a custom 6XC Krieger 20" sporter barrel made up for my Blaser R93. I'm shooting it suppressed and running 70gr BlitzKings at 3250fps. It's dropped several coyotes in their tracks out past 300 yards. With the fast twist (1:7") it will shoot the 105's into sub 1" at 200 yards if I want heavier bullets.

Not sure of the freebore, but it was made up with just a stock 6XC reamer.
