CZ 457 MTR Bi pod ?

Randy Smith or fishnfol over on RF Central. It's not the thing to run and gun with but it's a chunk and incredibly stable. Zero slop in this baby.

I went with a Sinclair with the elevation knob. I started using it for F-SBR a couple years ago and use the elevation knob to move between the bulls at both 50 and 100 yards, but you could probably use the rear bag at 50. I just use the rear bag for fine elevation adjustments. For ARA I use the knob for course adjustment between rows and make fine adjustments by moving the rifle on the rear rest. I have a CZ 457 in a Pro Varmint stock for F-SBR and a MTR for ARA.

The Tier One sure does look nice but agee it might be too wide

I went with a Rempel from Canada. The price was pretty reasonable considering. He offers a number of mounting options. I have pic rail adapters on most of my rifles now so I could use my Atlas BT46 (always a good choice for general use). So for the Rempel I had to order the release/adapter from American Defense but the extra $80 was worth it for me

Always wanted to try a SEB Joy Pod !! When I first seen these,
I had thoughts of making one from a Shade Tree top with extra
long joy stick for being behind the gun......Current one I'm working
on with long stick and revised top plate, for the grandsons rimfire.

PW Nolan,

Would you have the contact information for Rempel bipod and what are the red pieces under the rest skids? Thanks….

I just used a pic rail from salmon River solutions and then can put on whatever bipod I want, I have been running a Modular evolution

My Sinclair has elevation adjustability but I never use it. I just slide back and forth in the rear bag.

Have you noticed any movement between the bi-pod and the rifle. I've read where some claim to having wobble in their unit so I was just wondering.

Thanks,
Bill

The SEB is amazing! Only complaint is that it is too light. It can jump with centerfire rounds. Never with rimfire though.

I'm hooked on joysticks. I also have a Shadetree on a Hart base.

I own a joypod and use my sinclair on the bench because of the mentioned width issue.
Plus using the stick is not really within our rules for sporter bench

Mine has wobble in the elevation mechanism itself unless the adjustment is hard against one end or the other.
I've never bothered to try to fix it because it's too hard to reach from position anyway.
We have one shooter who retrofitted a big wheel to his sinclair elevation adjust and has had some great results using it for fine adjustments from position.

My bipod is about three years old, there is a slight wobble. I take the wobble out by pushing the rifle forward and then pulling it back while I'm setting up the shot. Actually works very well.

When I have the bipod on my F-SBR gun I put it on the sling stud closest to the reciever. I can reach the knob, I guess I have long arms. When I put the bipod on my MTR on the bench for ARA I put it on the sling stud closest to the muzzle. Again, long arms.
