Good luck with the sale, I'm sure someone will snag the collection.
I've also got every issue, sans #1 and refer back to them for both research and reading pleasure often. Pity the magazine folded, it was always fun when the new issue arrived and reading what our brethren were shooting.

If memory serves, I had three articles published, all on my favorite subject of course. ;)

@SeabeeKen: How far was that longest kill?

@Rick in Oregon: What were your articles about, which years? I might go look them up!

Yeah, these magazines were really great. It's amazing how incredibly technical some of those articles were. I used to geek out on that super statistical stuff.

Chris, the first one is on the "Love Before First Sight", 204 Ruger, July/Sep 2008.
Another called "Small Caliber fun with Skippy", Oct/Dec 2009.
And "The Paradigm Has Shifted - The 20VT", No. 90 Spring 2014.

Keep in mind, we're not talking Hemmingway, Stephen Hunter or Carmichael here.

Found all three! Can't wait to read them later this evening.

Just flipping through these few issues kinda made me wanna keep them, haha. Hmmm, I might have to bump the price up to $275...these are hard to let go of.

I hid your last name as a courtesy; not sure if you have made that public or not.

FYI everyone, the black censor was done electronically. I can assure you that I DID NOT use a black Sharpie on the actual page (you never know what some people might think).

I wrote a couple as well.

The Techno-Retro Rifle

A guided Groundhog Hunt (under my writing name, Arnold (Ziffel), a humor piece.

#63 and #75

Still have the gun, still hunt with Morgan.

I had a lot of research done to prepare an article for Precision Shooting regarding Ross Sherman and Superior Rifles of Dryden NY, but never moved on it, and PS is gone now too. I have 40 pages of history on those 30 rifles.

When the VHA magazine was still around, collections brought some good money as far as used magazines go. You'd see partial or full collections for sale every so often in the "For Sale" section of the magazine. I have most of them, but haven't thumbed through them in years.

Too bad they had to fold. The only magazine that supplied hours of reading. The member articles VH had were part of the novelty of the magazine. Heck, I even sent them a story one time and they put it in the magazine.

IIRC it was 1077 yds. He was in NC and shot across the river into VA. He used a range finder off a naval ship which was good out to 20,000 yds. He said without it and his scope he would not have seen it

I love my 20VT. Shot 2 with it just a couple days ago.
