Need to find long soft case.

I have a 20 tac rifle that measures 49.5” long.
Anyone have a recommendation for a long enough soft case they recommend?
I have a hard case already but want something in a soft case form

Also Allen makes a tac six line with a 50+ inch soft case that easily takes my 30” barreled rifles that are 52+”

How much do you want to spend? I have used a few Galati Deluxe Shooters Mat (it’s really a soft padded trifolding gun case which could also be used as a mat for prone shooting) for my longer rifles. Nice soft case with great protection for rifle. The Galati cases are expensive.

Check out Champions Choice. Your rifle will fit. It handles my fclass rig with 32" barrels. Stout padding, 2 extra pockets and a built-in cleaning rod holder in the bottom of the case. Should still be reasonably priced.

This has some nice side compartments. Should fit your 49.5" rifle, assuming that includes muzzle brake if you have one.

These are very well-made cases. 1000 Denier Cordura Nylon, (not 600 like most others) YKK zippers not some cheap Chinese zipper. Seems like it's always the zipper that fails first.

I have two 52" soft cases. One will accommodate an extremely large scope. I no longer shoot any rifles that long. You can have them both for free. If you're interested just drop me a PM.

Was at sportsman this past weekend and they had one and liked it even the wife said it was nice and I should get it lol.
Was a little more than Amazon but oh well.

I have had three of the Champions Choice cases. One was about five years old when it finally tore in so many places at the seams that I had to pitch it. Then I bought another one, and it had about an inch tear at the seam towards the back as received. I sewed it myself and so far so good. These cases do not balance well when you have a 30" long, Ø1.25" barrel, so I added an extra carrying strap, and it works OK.

I needed another case to carry two rifles, so my son ordered me another from CC for Father's Day a couple of years ago. Shipping was over $40! These cases offer great protection but are rather bulky; especially when you have two to fit in your vehicle with all the other gear. (I have an SUV, not a truck)

A few months ago I ordered this one (in black) from Amazon for $82, delivered, and I like it best. The padding is not quite as thick as the CC case, but it suffices: (It also has a little more height to clear the scope.)
