Lapua 6mm creedmoor brass

I’m having a hard time trying to figure out what 6mm caliber to go with. Looking at brass options it doesn’t look like lapua makes large rifle brass for the 6 creed do they ? I could always get 6.5 and neck it down I suppose

You could neck down 6.5 cm.
I chose a cheaper and more involved way. Got a smoking deal on Lapua 260 rem. Going to anneal, size down to size, neck turn and trim.
I didn't think it was possible but I tried it on a few pieces and it worked perfectly.

Just a thought.

I've necked down lots of 6.5CM. People are always leaving once fired 6.5 brass at the range, and I'm happy to pick it up for them

That’s probably what I’ll do, I have a decent bit of large and small rifle primers on hand I’d rather shoot large primers if I could. When lookin on lapua website I don’t see them offered with large primer

I've never used it, but, Graf's has Nosler LRP 6mm Creedmoor brass in stock. My LRP brass is all Hornady and it shoots very well in my 2 6mm CM rifles. I also use Lapua & Peterson in SRP but at slightly lighter charges.

Saw some Lapua brass (100 qty) at Sheel's in Appleton, Wi. It was 6.5 Creed. Easy enough to neck down to 6mm Creed.

Been doing it for 3 years now.

No they don't. But Peterson does. They offer it in both large and small rifle primer size.

I probably use more Peterson than Lapua. I find no difference in quality/life/etc. I like the fact Peterson has the Aztec codes listed for every lot they produce. And usually just a little bit less in cost. Buy American!

thank ye sir, I try to stick with lapua when I can even though it prob don’t make a difference in my trash. I will look at some Peterson

Peterson brass is just fine. I have 300 pieces in 6mm Creedmoor but small primer to supplement my Lapua brass.
