Central US Midrange Championship, June 2-4

It was a great weekend, for sure. Had a blast shooting with @Sightcast-Alan. How about his 94 X-count?!
@JLT and Clif (probably also on here somewhere) were awesome to hang out with and obviously brought the heat w/ their dueling1200's.

No kidding! Alan just stacked them in the middle all weekend. Prior to Saturday, Clif had not yet shot a 600 - well, he shot two in a row. Scott McNeely was clean for the weekend, along with Mark Walker. Andy Legg was checking the final scores and observed that there were four, maybe five, National Records shot this past weekend. Lots of shooters brought their A game, that's for sure.

The folks at OKCGC did a great job. Shooting was done by early afternoon, so thing moved right along, but there was plenty of time to enjoy good company, spend time with old friends and make new ones. You're right, Luke - it was a blast. Definitely making this trip again. The 1K range will be open this summer, from what I understand . . .

See below for the current CMP High Power Individual National Records as posted on the CMP’s Competition Tracker website….. unless I’m missing something, it looks like FIVE Midrange 3x600 CMP Records were set at Oklahoma Gun Club this past weekend.

This was another great match by this club. Kurt, Pat and many others really went above and beyond. Thank You again to all for putting this on (and for feeding us all….the BBQ was excellent!). We are already looking forward to next year.

Also, the 1000 yard range is coming along good… lots of hard work going on there as well.

Not that I am aware of. The link below is to the CMP Competition Tracker National Records webpage. It is filtered (using tabs at top left of page) for High Power Rifle. If I have it set correctly, these should be all the CMP High Power National Records.
