Attention: the Central US and Oklahoma Midrange prone match is 2-4 June 2023. Match program attached below. We are not using practice score this year.
CENTRAL U.S. AND OKLAHOMA STATE
MID-RANGE HIGH POWER CHAMPIONSHIP
2-4 June 2023
RANGE LOCATION: 12465 N.E. 234th, Arcadia, OK 73007. Proceed through the gate on the north side of the road then take a left at the T on the range road.
REGISTRATION: Early registration is encouraged and appreciated. The days of the matches, registration will be conducted at the Gary Stephens High Power Rifle Club House at 11:00 Friday and 7:30 Saturday and Sunday. Registration will end 30 minutes before matches begin.

The ShotMarker system will be set with the graph “off”, a 7 second delay, and only show recent shots.
CATAGORIES:
For matches 1-4 and 11-14, categories will be Service Rifle, PALMA Rifle, Match Rifle, and Match Rifle Optics. For matches 5-8 and 15-18, categories will be AR-Tactical, F-T/R, and F-Open. If fewer than three entries are in a category/classification, they will be combined as appropriate. For matches
ELIGIBILITY:
Competitors must comply with Rule 2.0, COMPETITOR ELIGIBILITY, to include having a signed Eligibility Affidavit and Waiver and Liability Agreement on file with the OKCGC. Both statements will be available at registration.
To be eligible for matches 18 or 19, the competitor must shoot the same rifle in the same category both days.
To be eligible for the Oklahoma State Championship trophy, the competitor must shoot in the same category both days and be an Oklahoma Rifle Association member. Memberships will be available at registration.
MATCH SCHEDULE:
Friday – Match begins @ 1:00PM
Two Man Team Match – Target MR-1 for Sling and AR-Tactical shooters; Target MR-1-F for all F-Class shooters. This match will consist of each team member shooting one string each of 2 sighting shots and 20 shots for record fired in a block time of 44 minutes. Team composition is not restricted and may be category pure or a mixture of any category (Palma, Service Rifle, Match Rifle, Match Rifle Optics, AR-Tactical, F-Open, F-Target Rifle). Designated coaches are permitted.
Squadded practice will be conducted concurrently to the team match.
Saturday - Match begins @ 9:00AM
Match#1: 600 YD SF, Target MR-1, Unl. sighting shots, 20 shots for record, 22 minutes.
Match#2: 600 YD SF, Target MR-1, 2 sighting shots, 20 shots for record, 22 minutes.
Match#3: 600 YD SF, Target MR-1, 2 sighting shots, 20 shots for record, 22 minutes.
Match#4: Aggregate of Matches #1-#3.
Match#5: 600 YD SF, Target MR-1-F, Unl. sighting shots, 20 shots for record, 22 minutes.
Match#6: 600 YD SF, Target MR-1-F, 2 sighting shots, 20 shots for record, 22 minutes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Competitors will be required to perform score keeping duties. We will use ShotMarker electronic targets so competitors must bring a WiFi capable device to spot shots and keep score. Bring your spotting scope and stand so you can better verify errant shots while scoring.
AWARDS:
Overall aggregate and category winners will receive cash and a plaque, other winners will receive cash. Second place class awards if six (6) entries. Third place class awards in the aggregate if twelve (12) entries.
The Oklahoma State Mid-Range Champions for Sling and F-class will be presented their plaques during the ORA Annual Meeting at the OKCGC 12 August 2023.
DOOR PRIZES: Drawing for door prizes will be during the awards ceremony Sunday afternoon, and you must be present to win.
FOOD AND DRINK:
Bottled water will be furnished behind the firing line.
The OKCGC Highpower Division will host a tailgate cookout Saturday after the matches. Come hungry and BYOB!
CAMPING:
Camp sites with hookups are available at the club for $15 each day. Tent camping is free. Showers and facilities are available.
LODGING:
Nearby Edmond Oklahoma has a multitude of hotels, motels and dining choices.
