I found some Center-X (1000 rounds) at Bullet Central last Monday and they showed up on my doorstep this past Thursday. (I called my next door neighbor and had him grab it and bring it in to his place until I got back0. At the time I was out west P. Dog hunting (Got back late yesterday from the trip) I'm now good for the remainder of the year with .22 ammo with 2.5k of Cntr-x and 4k of SK Rifle Match. Sourcing decent .22 match ammo seems to be showing up in places more frequently now.

Ok good, bricks are a different inventory item in both Lapua and EuroOptics systems. If you had bought a single “case” while my back order wasn’t fulfilled, I would have been hopping mad.

Said another way, if I had backordered 10 bricks I would have ammo now.

EuroOptic did confirm my back order just missed this batch and I’m getting the next case that comes in.

Aside from a slight volume discount, the difference is that boxes, bricks, and cases are different item numbers from Lapua and they are sold the same way to help keep lot numbers accurate. He did say that with SK they may break down cases or bricks to sell bricks or boxes.
 
My 22 is only a few months old and shoots Eley Match into bugholes, but with numerous misfires and poor extraction. So I was happy to finally get the Center X, which it was chambered to shoot. I made it to the range this week and in addition to bugholes, the 0.004" thicker rims performed flawlessly. Anybody want to trade my Match for CenterX .

I tested a bunch of Match and Tenex this winter. I did get ftfs but it seemed some lots had more than others. So for you it sounds like you still have the possibility of good results from either.

I don’t know what it is but I’ve owned or tested at least ten match grade .22s and none of them showed a preference for Eley. Not all Lapua was good but I have a lot of CenterX that has shot outstanding in every gun I’ve run it through.
