Who's got a new truck ?

How would GM handle a warranty claim if one of these had been installed? ("They'll never know" is not an answer.)

If they deny any warranty claim, sue them for violation of the Magnusson Moss Act. Since the device does nothing more than simply keep the engine in it's default V8 mode, any lifter failure that occurs would've happened regardless of if it was ever allowed to go to V4 mode or not.

Just buy one of the "GOOD ONES" from Yenko Chevrolet...No mods needed and full factory warranty.

Nitro black matte plasti-dip on the bead lock rings on the truck this weekend. I think it looks way better than the previous silver rings.

That's just a band aid. Unless you change out all the lifter's with non-AFM/DFM lifter's, you will still end up with trashed camshaft lobes after a while.
The cam phaser's in all of the Ford OHC engines are the same way, they're junk and made to break.
Lol exactly. Pure GARBAGE. The Ford OHC engines were trash to start with. The AFM/DFM devices aren’t worth $5, in fact they are likely doing more damage than good.

Right after they flew the airplanes into the WTC and Pentagon, I did my patriotic duty. Bought an F250 Superduty with the 7.3l diesel. I'm still driving it. I did put a modern touch screen stereo and backup camera, but it's otherwise stock. 20 years old and still going strong.

I'll never buy another brand new truck. Just too expensive.

Good looking PW!
I'm on my 3rd one, had a 78, a 83, and bought my current one new in 2012. The 78 and 83 were much more tougher built trucks. While I do love my 2012 PW, I hate all the electronic nannies it has, as well as only coming with an automatic transmission.
I bypassed the factory system so I can use my locking diff's and swaybar disconnect in high and low range.

Sharp truck loaded with features. Pure beasts too.

How bout I want a new truck? I want to trade in a Mercedes CLA 250 on a Honda Ridgeline but the wife wants a newer Mercedes instead. I still have my 2004 Nissan Frontier that she hates! It's standard transmission and the paint has faded and peeled something awful. One grandson says he wants it the other says no way! In any event, it doesn't burn oil, 25-27 mpg, AC works, runs good and I can fix things on it, but a new truck would be nice.

I don't usually do this on this website, But as a (SMALL TOWN) Ford dealer, I guarantee we sell all of our new vehicles at MSRP plus ZERO. We have 1/2 ton units in stock. I will be laying in a hospital bed for another three weeks , but my brother is around if you need help.

PM me
