Not really photographic quality.... instead quality in catching the moment.

Second time in as many weeks,#2 son caught my 3 1/2 y.o. Gson practicing with his bow.... uninitiated. IOW's,Gson got his bow and arrows out of the garage and by himself is found practicing. And according to my son,he's pretty dang good...

Much hope for the future yet.

I'm no photographer. That was with my phone.

Although I just got a cannon camera.
It has a 70-300mm lens.
Can you guy's recommend a little bigger zoom lens that takes quality photos?

While I learn how to use it...

That depends on the camera you bought. Inhave a Nikon D3400, for backyard wildlife I use an f3.5-5.6, 70-300 but small birds are tough, for a significant improvement I also have a fixed f5.6, 200-500. I have an f2.8, 24-70 for portraits and landscapes. Just FYI in the order listed we're looking at $600, $1,500 and $2,400.

I'd suggest starting with an introductory photo class before you start splurging on gear. It helped me a LOT to understand what the settings are and how changing those settings impacted my photos. Once I started to understand that (and started to get more practice) I was able to make more informed gear choices.

A lot of community colleges, art museums, and even photography stores will offer classes. This is the one I started with, and it's served me incredibly well over the years:
