22 BRA and N150

Iv had this planned myself for a while.
So according to the loads iv shot this far with 80smk, Arcomp. Best groups have been 24.5g and some decent groups at 27. Guessing those would be 2 different nodes.
Iv shot the 15.5 with the 80smk from 25 to 32g charge's. Nothing really crazy.ther
Arcomp and Imr 4350 have been best thus far .
I'm thinking to start n150 at 24g charge
What you think? Imr4350 at 30g shoots a 80smk at 2930

FYI, QL shows N135 and N140 have better BE with less powder.

With the case capacity I got after I neck down Alpha 6BRA with a .274 bushing (37.48 grains of H2O), at this point I will go with 26.8 grains of N150, 25.9 grains of N140 or 24 .8 grains of N150 for 90 SMK's and a COAL of 2.31" as a start. Depending on your FB, and my actual chamber measurements once built, this may vary and be adjusted accordingly. If you have a 'trued' COAL input number based on your chamber's touch point, it helps.

I'd be surprised if you don't see pressure at closer to 30 grains with 90's and N150.

Have you shot n150 in a br or bra?Any experience is helpful.I think it was Jackie Schmidt who had some results with n150 and a 103 grain bullet in a straight br.And he had a friend using it in a bra with same bullet

I’ve run n150 and 105 class bullets in a 6br with good results. 30 is what I was loading, I went higher but accuracy was not as good

No, I am 4 months out on my action but am accumulating everything else during the wait. I have a 2.2 lb jug of N150 on hand and over the weekend ordered N135 and N140 to compare, and use with 75 and 80's.

I run N150 with Berger 105’s and 108’s. 6 BRA. Just started with the 108’s and accuracy is good. 29.5 grains, 2840 fps , 28” barrel.

Dave I’m at about the same speed in a bra with n140 and 103 vapor trails.31.4 grains.Varget at 31.5 is around 2900fps
