double vision at 200 but not short range

I shoot all month at 50' to 100 yards without noticeable problems.

Then we have a 200 yard centerfire match and I struggle with double vision. Sometimes for a few shots, sometimes for most of them.
Including at least the following scopes so I don't think it's defective hardware.
t36
sightron 10-50
marsh 12-60

When I went out specifically to work through it I didn't have the problem!!!

Any clues?

I have the same problem. The number boards at 1000 were slightly double in both eyes. Diagnosed as astigmatism and got yellow lens corrective shooting glasses. Problem solved. See your Optometrist.

I also have yellow safety glasses somewhere I can try over the prescriptions.

Could be your prescription medication….

Are your parallax (objective) and eyepiece set correctly? Both affect focus. Eye strain will do that to me. Focus problems cause eye strain. Your objective needs different settings for your two distances; especially at higher powers.
