As Hoser mentioned, LRI does inlets - as a matter of fact, if you order a stock that's to be sent to him (Chad Dixon) for use on a custom build, he requests you order it as a flattop. And I believe he mentioned in a reply on a thread similar to this one over on the Hide that he will fill an inletted stock and then inlet it to his own standards.

With there being so few gunsmiths doing work for so many shooters, many are focusing on just the part of gunsmithing they prefer to work on.

Stock inletting is one of the first services to go for most. I can think of a few I've worked with who basically gave me that story.

Anyway, Alex Sitman is the only call I make for stock work.
