Have a friend who has a cleaning tool for Harrell's rimfire tuner. Anyone know where I might find one?

Thanks Robert

You can make one with fuel line and a wood dowel.

5/16 fuel line with a wood dowel inserted. using 1/2 sheet of paper towel. wrap and twist towel add a little solvent at the end and insert into tuner and spin. cleans both the crown and bore of the tuner.

that's fine if you are not shooting BR
I don't understand? I use my ultrasonic to clean all my brakes and extended choke tubes. Are you saying the ultrasonic will effect accuracy? Seems like scrubbing with any abrasive might.

no i am saying that guys clean them after every card at the match.. we're talking rimfire BR now..

I had never considered cleaning one until I read this but I had mine off my Kidd so I decided to give it a cleaning. Could not get a good shot of the inside but a shotgun swab on a pistol rod and a shot of non chlorinated brake cleaner it was clean in about 10 seconds

I dunk my tuner brakes in CLR. Doesn't take long. Then a teeny bit of Fluid Film or any light lubricant stops the action.

That black carbon is GONE and the tuner looks like new - inside and out.

Harrell's are finished aluminum , CLR would strip the finish and markings off!+

Clint may have one. (Shooting for Perfection). I know he had aluminum but may have UHMW/delrin too.
