I have to put a plug in for Westex. He threaded, chambered and tuned my action. Actually he is my neighbor and threads and chambers all my rifles. It cost to live next door to him lol.
I shot these groups this morning. From top to bottom the groups are as follows.
Center X, Lapua Long Range and Midas +.
No fouling shots or seasoning shots. I just fired 5, 5 shot groups on each row. The group’s were shot at 50 yards with a 15 power scope off a bipod. Not bad for a shaky old man lol.
I forgot to add this is from a Shilen barrel.

What brand of barrel? OK just saw it.... I would love to see a few groups with a good rest setup and a higher magnification scope. Looking pretty good for sure.

I have a Tract Torric 4.5-30x56 currently mounted on a Tikka. When I get a 20 MOA base I plan to put it on the Begara. It should reduce the group sizes a little.

Those groups are not too bad for anyone!

Nice shooting! Factory stock or chassis? Was the Shilen barrel a prefit? What diameter?
I just purchased a KI Precision 24” 1.250 barrel. 5-6 week lead time.

congrats looks like you got a nice shooting rifle and you are driving it like you own it (again congrats)

I have it on a MDT chassis and the Shilen barrel was a .900 straight taper I think. My neighbor (Westex) chambered and threaded it.
