I have not tried those yet but they are definitely on the radar when I can find some.
I am working with the 75 grain Amax now, trying to perfect a load to try this summer on the ground hogs.

Thinking about putting a new barrel on an older 22-250 in 9 twist to shoot the tipped 69 Sierra.Might be cheaper to just get a Tikka.Love the wood on your Coopers Gary, thanks for posting them up.

I got the Tikka because of the 8 twist and the ability to shoot the heavier bullets. Before I started on the heavier bullets, I decided to try the 65 grain Sierras, they shot really well so I loaded some up and went hunting. Then I tried the 55 grain Blitz Kings and they shot even better, so I’ve been shooting those. It took me a little longer to master shooting the light weight Tikka but it’s been real accurate for such a light weight hunting rifle. You won’t be disappointed if you try one.

I shoot 36 grains of Varget under a Sierra 55 gr Gameking in a 12 twist Savage mdl 12. It’s killed groundhogs out to 470 yards.
