6mm ppc brass

I got some Norma PPC from RPS International years ago. He is by Edmonton. It shot ok but wont last like Lapua. It may be worth a call to see if he still has some.

I don't think the sako brass was made by norma but not %100 sure. Norma brass is 6ppcUSA. It's what I use and haven;t seen any in the States for sale in a while.
Whatever the case in the past, current Sako brass is made in-house by Sako, and I suspect that this has been true for some time. Here's a piece that describes the Sako ammunition and component operation:

Now you tell me~! I recently sold 400 virgin cases pretty cheap trying to be a 'good guy' helping fellow shooters. Guess I won't be selling the rest of them~!

I’ve bought, used, and sold some myself. It seems like the demand is extremely sporadic. Some people come looking for it because they dont want to mess with forming and neck turning Lapua 220R, some think it has the better chamber fit, etc.

I not longer have any Sakos with factory chambers but when I did I found Lapua, Norma, and Sako all to be of good quality and equal accuracy if you weren’t trying to max out the loads.

Well I purchased the rifle. Really like it. With the rifle the previous owner had these RCBS dies. He wasn't a reloader. Shot factory. I called RCBS and a tech toldIMG_0512.JPG me they were custom dies not for the PPC USA chamber but knew little else about them. Do any of you guys have any info on theses dies. TKS

It's definitely not a 6PPC, because the 35° shoulder angle is different from the 30° angle of the 6PPC, 6PPC-USA, and 22PPC. It's some wildcat, probably similar to 6PPC.

If you're looking for normal PPC dies, I have several I can sell. I'm sure I have dies that will meet your expectations.

Could you supply me with a phone # or a link. I've searched for them with no luck. TKS
Edit: OK I found them.

Its hard to get enough powder in a ppc case as it is
If one loads the 6ppc usa in these factory Sako rifles like the custom benchrest shooters do, you will get yourself in trouble real fast. These small actions cannot take those amounts of pressure. Stick to Published loads for these rifles and you will never have any trouble not having enough room in the case for the powder. Be careful.
