Just picked this up and see that the scope mount rail is integral with the receiver. I need rings and a scope. Is this mounting system correctly called a dovetail type? I see CZ dovetail rings made by CZ for this rifle. If so what size objective lens would be the largest that would work?
Any info appreciated.

that would be a 11mm or 3/8 dovetail, it's a pretty common size in the air rifle/rimfire crowd. As a alternative you can pick up 3/8 dovetail to Picatinny rail converters and make life simple. A far as the objective size that will all depend on the ring height. I match my rings t5o the scope, not the other way around

If you don’t mind spending a little more get an Area 19 Picatinny 20 MOA rail with the built in bubble level. Top that with the appropriate height Burris Signature Zee rings with offset inserts. Using the appropriate inserts you will be good from point blank to 300 yards or better.

I have a 56mm objective scope on my 457 American using Warne 732M high rings and no rail. There is around 1/32 space between the flip up cap and the barrel.

Harrell's has rings of various heights etc. for 11mm and 3/8 dovetails.. And I believe they have a model that works with either. WD

BKL industries also sells rings that will work on the CZ. 11MM. If you bought this rifle and a manual came with it, it tells your the ring size needed.
Just get the size ring your scope will need to clear the receiver.

DIP 25moa rail and Burris medium(1.25) XTR Signature rings is what I have on my VPC. The scope has a 50mm objective. I also have 25moa in the rings for a total of 50moa and still zero'd at 50 yards.

I bought it new and have the manual and I read it.
11mm is the size my concern was the largest objective lens that will clear barrel.
From the kind folks that responded, and you, I have a real good idea. Much larger than I thought.
Is this built in rail possibly 30°?

Rails are an aftermarket add on that come in 10, 20, and 30 minutes of angle not degrees. I'm not sure I could tell the difference between them just looking.
The cz dovetail is the standard european 11 mm. The american standard is 3/8ths both are sold by most suppliers.
