7 FCP, a cartridge developed specifically for the F Class Scene...

Just breaking in the barrel for my new 7FCP I just chambered up, this is only 100yrds but it’s a 20 shot group fire forming. Barrels broke in now, but I’d like the temps to warm up a bit for load development, been in the 30’s and now dropping into the teens to signle digits for highs next week, come on warm weather!

Left to right, 284 Shehane, 7 FCP, 7 RSAUM, 7 BBM (improved rsaum).

284 Shehane has about 67 Grains of water capacity, 7 FCP has 72, Rsaum has 72 and the BBM has 75.

Stout looking cartridge! What Brass are you using? Lapua or ADG? And also what was the initial water capacity using that brass prior to fire forming? Also how much body taper do you have on the FCP?
 
Bryan did you do forming loads with 4350 or 4831sc and do you have any load data with these powders, very interested to see how they go
 
Hmmm , wish this a an option before i bought my panda action. Guess if i can one rifle done , i will look at this for 1000yard stuff.
