Now wait a minute. At St. Andrews in Scotland, the course is closed one day a week so the local folk can use it as a park. A golf course could double as a shooting range several days a week.

The municipal golf course in Lewiston, Idaho (where I've played a lot of golf) is crawling with rockchucks ("Yellow-bellied marmot" Marmota flaviventris) which could be hunted a couple days a week, and hunters charged the regular greens fees for the privilege.

The service ceiling of F-22 and F-15 are both 65,000 feet. That's a cruise ceiling, not the absolute ceiling. A modern fighter can "zoom" above 90,000 feet (check the FAI altitude records) and an M-61 Vulcan 20mm cannon has an effective (not maximum) range of 2000 feet. Let's make a Venn diagram.

I guess I was talking about the ones who have a hole cut in the floorboard to take care of business when Mother Nature calls.

I just learned about this last week from my mechanic! He used to do heavy truck repair and his shop would turn down any 'turbans' because when they crapped out the hole in cab floor stuff would get splattered all over the undercarriage. Now i know and wont follow trucks so close on the freeway!
