Latest Skeleton Front Rest from Lenzi…

Got this today from Bruno’s. Staggered by the quality and how light weight the skeleton frame is. This thing is a piece of engineering artwork. Can’t wait to shoot off it tomorrow at the range.

Ready for the trolls to criticize my Tikka action off a KRG chassis. Happy to shoot for record against anyone at 600 yards.

Nobody criticized the Tikka action or your chassis…..seems like you’re a little quick to get defensive. Can’t say I blame you though, considering we are talking about guns and you live in California. Lol. Good luck with the stand. I’ll be following to see how it shoots. What stand were you shooting on prior?

What stand were you shooting on prior?

I started shooting F-Class off an Atlas bipod originally then moved to a Seb Joy-Pod. Shooting off the Lenzi front rest this morning was a pure joy. Absolutely no regrets about laying out that much coin for a front rest.

I do regret sounding defensive over my Tikka action and chassis setup, however.

Age and health conditions. Guys get tired of lugging the weight back and forth to the line. At ~22lbs it is in the same neighborhood as the Neo and Raptor.

If you are using a 35lb+ rifle, with a wide forend, the Max is still one of the best. Like going to the gym, but in the fresh air.

I've seen some go from Neo's down to the Mini's to shoot from the bench for this reason, which seems to work fine with LG's.
Yep that's dead on. Sadly I watched a good friend of mine who is in his 80s go ass over tea kettle last year while carrying his Max with both hands. He tripped walking on concrete, fell head first and the Max landed on his foot while he did some kind of panicked front roll to the ground and bloodied his head. He sold it the next day and got a Neo (he wanted a mini but a Neo came up for sale first and so far he hasn't had issues).

Glad to see Lenzi addressing the weight like other have, we all win as a result.

Heavy sand in the front bag?
It's what I had on hand and wasn't sure what the best filler material would be in the first place.

Please hit me with some recommendations.

I really appreciate all the responses and this community. I'm still pretty new to this and very eager to learn.

Best,

Kelvin
