What are the best powders for 40g V Max in 204 R, of the ones I have listed.

Both of my 204 have shot great groups with BLC-2, its not temp stable but I dont run it to max anyway.

I am trying to get some great load data, without doing a bunch of reloading, an wasting components. I have 500 40g v max, which both of my .204s love, tiny little groups and about half an inch with 32 gr. The 40 gr shoots better in both my guns, and kills much better on chucks, coyotes, and crows. Here is the powder I have on hand, most in #8 jugs.

So far on my limited load development, I went with the powder in the manual that gave the highest speed with less powder. I am liking Rel 10, and H335, all I have tried. I was told by a pretty knowledgeable reloader that 24.5 grs of Rel 10 was what Hornady used in the 40 gr factory load, and groups/POI mirror the factory 40 gr load. All help apppreciated, just trying not to was primers and other componenents.

I have heard and read great things for 8208 in 204. I have been tempted to try some but it’s scarce

I tried 3031 and H4895 they shot shot OK, but not great. R10x was pretty good, but when I went to 8208 it all came together. I shoot 26.9gr 8208 with 39gr SBKs. 2.360" OAL. Groups about .2" at 100 yards with a factory savage with a sporter barrel. I can confirm 8208 shoots very well with heavier 204 ruger bullets.
