Reading that SDS is almost like reading a comic book.
If you get it on your skin, wash it with soap and water.
If you get it in your eye, flush the eye with water for 15-20 minutes
If you have a spill, you have to do a Hazmat clean up

Carb cleaners like that are much too strong for use on things like rifle bores and around some of the parts, wood, finish, plastics found on most firearms today.
You can or could end up doing a lot of damage to your firearm. Just use products made for cleaning rifle/handgun cleaning and care.

Do you rotate the brush in the direction of the rifling or against it?

What worries you about doing that? I've done it several times. Are you worried about the reamer or the chamber? I'm curious because the reamer will never cut any part of the throat once the bbl has any wear at all. Is there something you've actually seen that worries you or just the idea?

Nothing worries me about it….lol. I don’t chamber my own barrels, so I rarely have a reamer laying around. I’ve saw it mentioned on the forum before and the poor soul who mentioned it got drug pretty hard by the experts telling him that it would ruin the reamer.
