Don’t do it. New brass for every barrel. Brass always stays with that barrel. Period. Best advice you could follow.Another silly question for you experienced shooters.
With all the craziness getting components I wonder if I can shoot old Dasher brass in Dasher Norma chamber?
Hmmmmm, barrels cut with the same reamer, I have to say if you have brass in good shape, not so. Now in reality I make new brass for every barrel but if its still good at the end of that barrels life, I have done fine with it in a new barrel. I think as the componet crunch continues we will find some previous thoughts we have had are just that, thoughts not fact.Don’t do it. New brass for every barrel. Brass always stays with that barrel. Period. Best advice you could follow.

Thanks SWDThe Norma Dasher was ever so slightly tighter at the back end and has a .050” longer neck. I know someone (not me!) who trimmed his Norma Dasher brass back to Lapua spec by accident and shot it that way with no problems at all, lol. It was just as accurate as it was later with the proper length brass. But have you checked Norma USA? Last week someone posted that they had Norma Dasher brass in stock.
