N133--tell me about it

N133 was my standard powder back when I shot 52/53s in 223 Rem. Good in 222 Rem too. Nowadays, I mostly use it in 6.5 Grendel with 120/123s. These are all applications with fairly low case capacity to bore area ratios, as are the classic BR 6PPC application and @tesoro's .20P. Other cartridges with these sorts of ratios include many large-calibre straight-wall numbers such as 45-70 where N133 is again useful.

magic juice in my 223 rem 700 factory chamber. used to be benchmark but newer lots are too slow to give me the velocities i used to get.

manufacture load data suggests n135 would be a better powder (for case fill and good velocity) for the bullets i am running.

but I have great case fill with n133, matches my older lots of benchmark, pushing a 53 grain to 3500, and no pressure signs and could still go up more if i wanted to.

i would assume you’d have equally great luck in your ai.

You have a goose bbl?!!!

223 and 223 AI with BR-4 primers, 50g Bullets, incredible speed with accuracy in the extreme!

N135 with the 55's, 3700 in my 12T, zero freebore, 27" 223 AI with nosler ballistic tips and Speer 55g TNT.

You will need a thick cup primer, cci br-4 is a thick cup, and I got better accuracy with the BR-4 than the Rem 7 1/2. CCI 41 may work, and cci 450 blew the heck out of the groups.
