After brass is sized to your chamber, is there a benefit to sizing the neck all the way down to the shoulder?

I have the same question. In my mind it seems this would cause potential problems because of the donut area being forced inward even further, compared to partial sizing the neck like the Redding bushing dies.

Actually the donut doesnt form if you keep the brass pushed away. The donut builds up where brass can flow freely

I was taking some new Lapua 6.5x47 down to 6mm yesterday, first hitting the necks with a body die to partial size the neck and then through the Forster FLS die with the high expanding button. This moved the brass out and made the case .0015 longer, so no doughnut.
I ordered some of the 21st Century die inserts on this sale to play with neck tension a little, right now all my dies get .0015 to.002 tension on the loaded Bullet.

Agreed, so where will the material flow with a bushing configured with the neck/shoulder profile?

Wouldn't it have to be "radially constrained" on interior AND exterior simultaneously for length growth?

In my experience, if case necks are growing in length, they are also getting thicker. I have to trim and re-turn if running slim margins of clearance.
Not sure how this relates to donuts.

You can put a little white lithium grease on it, to help extend the life of the O-Ring. Honestly, I have run them dry with no issues as well.
