ABC Barrels

Spoke with him last week for about 30 mins. Move is done, that had problems, but he worked through them. Then had a lot of issues with getting electrical supplies. Ive been using his 30 cal barrels for FTR. Didn’t get to shoot much this year, but out of 4 matches with his barrel my top score was 200-17x at 600. Great guy and he thinks once the new shop is done quality will be even better.

Do you know what calibers he’s going to be offering initially? I heard previously he was only doing like 6mm and 30cal. Thanks!
 
I was hoping to stay under the radar until the new shop is up and running.

Yes... I got bit bad from the national shortage of electrical componets.

I expect to be back into production soon but I will not be taking any new orders until after I have cleared my list. I have people that have been patiently waiting throughout this move and it is only fair that I take care of them first.
If you are already on the list then I will be calling you as I am starting production again.

I moved because I needed a bigger building, more equipment and employees. With ABC barrels winning 8 national championships and setting 4 records in the IBS & UBR ... I simply couldn't keep up by myself.
I am hoping to hire an apprentice sometime but don't worry.... My hands will still be doing the final lapping.

Thanks for the Update. Im glad to hear you have moved forward and are still doing it. I do hope the best for you and ur barrel business. hopefully i will be able to get on the list sometime. Thanks

It won’t be long now. I know he was honing some barrels recently and will soon be or already is working on the barrels of folks that ordered some time ago. As soon as all those are shipped, he will begin taking on new orders/customers. He’s completely set up now in AL and will be producing top notch barrels soon if not already.
 
I spoke with Anthony a couple of months ago and he had another unforeseen setback.
His heat treating furnace was heating the building up too much so he was in the process of building an insulated wall to segregate the area from the rest of the shop, should be done by now.
He has had one setback after another throughout this whole process. I've been waiting since before the move on a barrel, I just put the action away and keep waiting.
I know he comes on here at times maybe he will see this and give some sort of update or give those of us loyal customers a call to update.
