Lapua temporarily delays production of certain brass types

The Mak looks to be a product of WWII, I believe the 9x19 predates WWI... I think

Back when i was a teen you could buy a mak and a case of ammo for under $100 at gun shows. Once you ran out of ammo you just bought another pkg deal

You know, a friend of mine let me borrow a Polish Mak because I'd never shot one. I'll be damned if I didn't shoot better with that ppk wannabe than I did with my 4506 Smith

I have a friend that bought a Mak for cheap and ended up liking it a lot. I've shot it and its an easy pointing and shooting gun.

Now Dusty, are you sure you don’t have any Lapua brass on you? I’ve got enough bear claws! That brass makes for great bartering when times get tough ya know!

About seven or eight years ago, I bought a custom 6.5x47 and liked it. I read whispers about what might happen if Lapua dropped production so I bought ten boxes of brass. I still have seven unopened and was thinking about selling some.
Now I’m glad I didn’t!

Unless you heavily overload these cases, 10 boxes will more than likely outlive you! With periodic annealing they last forever. In any event, they're a better investment than having put your money into stocks and shares.

Have a P-64 . Made by Z.M. LUCZNIK - Poland . 1973 . Very nice "Back-up" piece . I load it with the 124gr Russian +P ammo , that was / is still issued to Diplomats and KGB Officers , in the day . Very outstanding close range piece . And that round works for what was intended .

as far as why the Ukrainians would want a 5.56 weapon , when they are the manufacturers of some of the best 7.62 x 39 ammo in the world is beyond me . I have about 4,500 rounds of that "terrible" Black Box Wolf in my stash , and my 1947 SKS just loves the stuff .
