N555 in cartridges with no load data.

So i bought the remainer of an 8lb jug of N555 from a fellow member.(thanks @Fuj)
7.5lb left.

Vihtavouri claims good for large capacity cases, with smaller bore.

Thought, "Great! Should be good in cartridges such as my 25-06, 25 WSSM, and 257 Roberts AI".

Alas, zero load data for ANY of the above mentioned cartridges.
And not listed on powders in QL.

Vihtavouri claims burn rate between N160 & N560.

What are your observations with it?

I've use it in my 6.5CM. What I typically do with a powder like this (no load data for what I want to try it in), I pick a close powder of the same manufacturer and load some mild loads and adjust the Ba value in QL. I used N550 and found the adjustment was minor. I'm not suggesting my approach for all, but it works well for me.

I just bought a jug also will go through compare burn rates and cipher something out... you can use the Vihta website it has cartridges on it

Use the burn rate chart in conjunction with loads of similar powders and the 550 and 160 go between them, I just bought a jug also that's how I will do it, cipher it out then go max with a couple bullets then back off, shooting 2 shot groups they ain't touching they is no good sometimes o_O
