Looking at page 241,108 gr. scenar) and page 242,123 gr. scenar) I'm wondering if Lapua didn't get these two sets of data mixed up.
All they got with a 108 grain bullet was 2900 fps but they achieved 3200 fps with the 123 grain bullet.
The only powder that they used for both was N160 and their max. load for the 108 grain scenar is 48.4 grains. For the 123 gr. scenar its 50.4 grains. Something just doesn't sound right about that.
For the 123 grain scenar they list N550, N160, N560, H414, and H1000.
For the 108 grain scenar they list N150, N160, & N165.
So they have some high energy and very slow burning powders listed for the 123 but still - can this be so?
