My 1-8" .223 shoots 50 to 68-grain bullets with excellent accuracy, but I haven't tried anything heavier. It loves the 53-grain VMax.Ok Question on twist
I am locked in to standard 223 I have a one in nine twist now--works perfect with the 40-55 g varmint stuff I have been shooting but I recently got access to a range that is 400 and another is having 300 yd match once in a while so....IF I get a 1-8 twist to better handle slightly heavier bullets --for that every now and then long shoot--will it do the 53g Vmax OK still? OR--what is better than 1-9 if anything for what I want to do
THANKS guys appreciate your patience and time
