Labradar MiniUSB Power Connection Fixes- Update 2

Depends … on how close , and how big ,even with a right angle connector , a new cable resolved it for me

Certainly worth a try. I just ordered one with a right-angle head. Not sure why they all seem to come in 4-packs but I guess I'll have plenty of spares. Price was low enough.

Here is the ultimate fix for the mini-USB failure if your LabRadar is over a year old and out of warranty.

Have a drill? Know how to use it?
Complete cords are available on Amazon, Ebay or a well stocked computer store.

Anyone have any ideas on how to fix a SD card port? Mine will no longer read the card consistently. It will work for one shot and then complain there is no SD card found. I'm guessing a loose connection somewhere, anyone know where to start for a fix?

@hoz53 -- do you have a picture of the USB connector on the board?

Any update to what you ended up doing?
i did like pat miles in the next post. #25 spliced into the battery wires. i just used an old usb cable and spliced it to a jack. works good for power. havent checked for the remote trigger cable
