SELLING BAT and Kelbly Nut Barrel Prefits

I am no gunsmith, and there are plenty of very good ones who are in the forum, so my input may be of limited value here. That said, I think the Kelby and BAT actions are machined so well that if you get the barrel threads exactly right according the factory specs, you won't need a barrel nut. I would be especially interested in some barrels like that and I guarantee I would buy some. I often have Kelby's do my barrels because I don't even have to send my action to them. They are just careful to do it the specs for the action I have (they print them on their website), and then I can just screw it in and it headspaces itself perfectly so I start shooting my new barrel.

They also have actions they can check the finished product with sitting right there. Which would be nice. Or a check fixture.

I was talking about a nut barrel. But there is a shouldered option also.

Of course my nut barrel would be less than $300. Compared to a Kelbly which is probably closer to $800.

Yes, all of that is correct, which is why I am hoping you might be able to offer some shouldered options for much less than the $750 I pay now, hahaha. But if that is not really feasible (I honestly don't know enough to know), I would be interested in trying one of the nut barrels.

I just bought a shouldered Krieger pre-fit barrel from SPR for my new Kelbly Atlas Tactical action. No nut needed. You can swap bolts on Kelbly actions and the headspace doesn't change.

Yes shouldered prefits are certainly another option. I'm not sure at this point I want to deal with that. Just out of curiosity how much did you pay for your prefit Barrel?
