Rimfire Gallery--Show Us Your Gun

Saw these old rifles and I just can’t help myself. I have a “NEW” old rifle. I had John Taylor out in Idaho install a barrel liner, chamber to 17 HM2 and tune trigger to about 2 lbs. I then installed a Montana Vintage Arms scope. This is now my favorite squirrel rifle.
What did it cost to have a liner put in. A friend has a Stevens Favorite 32 Long he would sell for two, but don't know if it's worth the cost to have lined.

I respectfully suggest that you consult a dictionary. With respect to a firearm, what makes it a "weapon" is its ability to inflict bodily harm, the same as a knife, a bludgeon, etc. A firearm is a weapon, whether used for legal or illegal purposes.

You might also consider that accepting the anti's characterization connoting weapons as illegal concedes their point. In spite of restrictive firearm laws, Australian law still considers the use of a weapon in self defense lawful.

Maybe it's time to stop being finicky, and to stiffen your spine.
Actually I have to correct you sir no it does not the only thing you can legally do is use equal Force and you will still be charged for defending yourself with assault if you use a weapon you are in more trouble than the Aggressor .
I have seen it many times in this country and the media are very quick to put it on the news as a warning to everybody else keep your hands in your pockets and let what will be done be done it is absolutely pathetic.

Had some fun today shooting these two. CZ457 Varmint with MTR barrel swap;Timney trigger and Weaver Grand Slam scope 6-20 X 40mm. The second one is a CZ455 Varmint in Boyd stock and LW barrel and Clearidge scope 6-20 x 40mm.

I’ve had this since I was a teen, it’s been a fun pistol. Ruger single six 9 1/2” barrel. Three screw. Cheap user grips.

Nak, I found this one in a pawn shop a few years ago. I couldn't believe how nice it was. Sadly I sold it to a friend. I later tried to buy it back but he's pretty happy with it. Great looking guns.

I was heading back from Cheyenne last week and I stopped by Mile High to see some friends. They have a ton of this Lapua Biathlon ammo in stock.

I grabbed a brick to play with with the caveat that the brick has to come from a lot with 3-4 cases avail.

I like Biathlon ammo because for the most part it isnt greasy.

Last Saturday I grabbed my Vudoo 360 and I spent some time at the indoor range getting a solid zero, checking ES/SD and doing some tuning. The SD was about 7 and it was a pretty painless tune.

Sunday I took it outdoors after our USPSA match. This was 10 shots at 150 meters. I bought 3 cases of it. It was also impressive out to 400 yards.

Got one like that but in 44 Mag!:D Could stand a different grip design when shooting 250 grain full house loads.:(

I regret selling my 1413 years ago. I used it while shooting for the University of Wyoming back in the 70’s. Most accurate .22LR I’ve ever owned. Every time my friends and I are shooting rimfire, I think of what that rifle could do.
I have no photos, but I am still shooting the same Anschutz 1413 super match that I bought as a kid almost 40 years ago. Unfortunately for me half of those years it spent stored in its box unused, but I'm back to using it again and loving it.
