If the Constitution is to be followed they CAN NOT make any of those already in existence illegal. Refer to Article 1, section 9, paragraph 3. "No Bill of Attainder or ex post facto Law shall be passed". Meaning anything that was legal prior to the law being passed is still legal, anything thereafter is subject to the law at hand.

What is the definition of an Assault Semi Automatic weapon and Large capacity magazines…..hell that can’t define what a woman is or what a recession is. Every weapon can be defined as an assault weapon. Saw a Alfred Hitchcock program on TV in the 60 era where a wife killed her husband by hitting him over the head with a frozen leg of lamb…now That is assault in any form or manner of definition.
