0pions on Accurate 4350 verse h4350 in 6.5 x47

I have some accurate 4350 and building a new 6.5x47 most say h4350 is the best, accurate is a bit slower burning cant find h4350 I have reloader 17 witch in almost same burn rate as h4350 but have been told its sensitive to weather conditions ???? Any Experience with these powders shooting 600 to a 1000 yards Shooting 140 's VDL 1-8 twist barrel Sierra and berger

I have 2 one with a shlien and 1 with pacnor other than that the same everything else. 1 shoots 4350 real well the other perfers r15 or varget depends on the bullet I shoot. In summary it just depends on what your gun like I know this isn't excatly what you ask but I hope this helps

The perfect 6.5 most use or be formed from lapua brass No AI 140gr bullet @ 2950+ 30" barrel PSI should be 55k for increased barrel life Currently building 6.5 lapua running 130 around 3k fps but cant help but wonder if 6.5x55 would be better

I've tried a lot of different powders in my 6.5x47L. Mine is an 8 twist Criterion barrel, on a trued Rem 700 SA. I always come back to H4350. I did discover that IMR 4451 is as good. If you can't find H4350, try to find some IMR 4451.

You will have a hard time finding a better powder than H4350. I have done well with Reloader 16 also but it is hard to find. I shot up a whole pound of 17 with 142s and could not get it to group. Oh! It shot at 2950. I thought my Magneto Speed was broken the first time I clocked them. LOL I have shot a few groups with IMR 4350. They show promise and I can find it in my area.

I deleted my post above about the Accurate 4350 in the 6.5x47 Lapua because Ramshot doesn’t show that powder for it-in their load data. You may want to contact them and ask.

They are going to put competition shooters out of business same thing in trap I shot trap for years now shot shells are so high and targets doubled very few can afford it
