I own couple of F Open rifles and after breaking a stock or two mid match I'm begining to wonder if dedicated stocks is the only answer OR tactical stocks like the Accuracy International fitted with a wide fore end is at a disadvantage.

One of the reason I'm asking is the long wait time on Cerus/ DiMA stocks.

We don't have to touch fire or ice to know it's hot or cold. Same with stock I didn't/ haven't tried all stocks but for F-Class, wood & carbon laminate stock such as Cerus for me. Or Dima.
Long wait means that they are great and in high demand.

I may have some options for you as well. Just starting but will be laminating Carbon Fiber in the layup process moving forward. Below are a few that i have made for my rifles as well as others i shoot with, these do not have CF in the layup. The last 3 are available

Dima is good and AS Rifle stocks (only on facebook)

AS does the resin and Caron and excellent to work with. Beautiful stocks. Very good prices and can come inletted and finished.
He responds very well through Facebook messenger and email

Thank you very much, there are a lot of beautiful stocks out there, i just couldnt afford them, so started building my own. Still havent figured out how i couldnt afford a stock, but could manage to find $$ for a CNC router, go figure!, but im in it now and love to watch the machine run.

Improper torquing by the gunsmith I guess but Joe West stock cracked and I'm not the only one who had this issue

Just placed an order for a Kestros ZR with pierce engineering. 8 months wait atleast

Well I've tried out most options and I don't find any difference between my Scoville and Accuracy international Stock Scores with 300 WSM
