The 22xc Thread

Considering that I haven't even tried a seating depth and these are virgin RESIZED cases with less than perfect seating pressures, I would think these are shooting.

The 75 eldm was holding a thou of seating depth. Much better than I remember Hornady doing back in the day.

I will look into it. My brother in law and friend both got stocks from you a few months back. They look nice!

Brother in law has one. He had ptg built a reamer about 1 1/2 years ago he really has not shot it much to really get a good load for it. He talked to owner of west texas ordnance about it. He got the idea from seeing it on their site as a 22LRV (long range varmint). As far as to do what to pick a caliber, just dont need anything its just a want. I always have thoughts spinning in my head.

Seems to be shooting.

Considering my Wilson "budget barrel".

:)

I looked into that action and none in stock right now.

Yah you have to call and order one. Probably a few months at least. I would still highly recommend you do it. They are really nice for the money and seem to be very good people.

Stiller may also have a Remington tenon.

You might also consider the ARC Nucleus. It has a Savage tenon. As does the Big Horn Origin.

Defiant also makes a Remington compatible action. I think the Rebel and Deviant are both Remington tenon if you get the standard bolt face.

The Curtis Axiom is a Remington with the counterbore cut off. I have done a few of those.

I was thinking a more budget frendly action for a rifle to have fun with. I want a better action for a 7saum i want to build once stuff starts to get back into stock. I got a 6.5 prc early in 2020 that i have barly shot due to scrounging up components.

I was told by a friend that the Remington 700 are starting to show up at Walmart again

Next tests are the 88 ELDM (with R16) and the 52 grain Fowler match (with AR Comp).

I bet I can get the 52 Fowler easily above 3900 FPS (which is the limit of my Labradar).
Good day U R from a cool South Africa. How did your testing go with the 88's. I am about to fit my 8 twist Walther barrel on Sako 85 action in 22XC.
