Winchester 1300 trigger

Does anyone know about adjustments that can be made to the 1300 trigger (pull weight) ? A young lady that hunts with us bought a new Win. 1300 slug gun and gave it to me for scope zeroing. I took it to the range this morning to zero and I could not believe how heavy the pull was. I doubt she will be able to stay on target with this trigger weight in the field. I used my pull gauge when I got home and it was breaking between 13.7# and 14.8#. I dry fired about 60 times and it didn't change. Anything I can do to this ?

My suggestion is to contact http://www.patsgunrepair.com/services.html. He is located in Wells MN and does a lot of mechanical repair on high end shotgun stuff. If he can't handle it he may be able to steer you in the right direction.

Now that's just a few miles from my house. I'll give him a call. Thanks........
A friend of mine use to send his K80 up to him every winter to go through it. The E washers in the trigger mech has/had a way of working their way loose and causing trouble.
Another quality smith is Laib's in Spicer, MN. He bushed the firing pin hole in my Perazzi TM1 receiver years ago.

I go to the Wells guns how every spring. It's only like 35 minutes from here. I've never even heard of this guy...But I've never been big into shotguns either..Benelli autos is as good as I have and what I've bought the kids.
