Has anyone tried Unis Ginex Primers?

We use a lot of Unis primers in our new ammo and regularly buy them in large batches (250-350k at a time). They are on the large side of SAAMI so can be tight in some primer pockets but generally if your machines are setup right they are fine. They are consistent (both in-house testing and verified by the 3rd party analaysis/testing company we use).

We often get single digit SD’s in our random pulled test batches, after retooling & tuning, and with test loads. Although this seems to be more evident particularly with loads using their SPP and SRP’s.

Specifically small rifle primers in target loads. It seems that is all that is available right now. Thanks for any replies
I've used them in 5.56 loads, my LGS carries the Small Rifle and Small Pistol sizes. I haven't tried the pistol primers yet. A local ammo supplier near us uses them as well. About $.10 each.

For what it is worth, this week, afriend brought by a couple hundred small rifle primers for me to try. I measured them and the diameter is identical to the Federal 205’s I use.

My SR primer order from Capitol Cartridge last week. The Ginex SR primers they have right now are 3-P3 primers for sporting rifles. They are not the Nato 556 primers they had before and some others are selling..
They also have brass cups. These primers fit perfectly into new Lapua cases using the old Lee primer tool. No hard seating

Would love to hear how they do for you-especially in 6ppc. Thanks

What was irritating is the fact that UPS took 2 weeks to travel 10 ish miles from their door to mine.
I have been in their facility and they don't have a will call so I could pick them up.

The ones I just ordered are labeled 4,5/3-N for 5.56

They weren't small rifle but were small pistol, in either case I didn't. At a gun show a while back one of the vendors had a 1,000 pack of small pistol primers for $100.00 (small pistol primers are total unobtainium). Being the cheap (interject your own adjective here) I thought $100.00, the last ones I bought were $35.00 per K and did not buy them. After a reality slap I went back at the show the following month and of course they were gone. Someone with a better grasp of the reality of availability had purchased them.

I bought 5000 LRP's & 5000 SRP's from American Reloading back on 5/31/22.
LRP's are for my .308 and the SRP's are for my AR15.
All crimps were removed.
I've loaded approx. 500 SRP's and 200 LRP's.
Loading the LRP's in Lake City brass I had no real issues and they worked just fine.
However, SRP's have been a major PITA!!! I have loaded them in Lake City and IMI brass. I can get them to seat but I have to use a lot of force to get them seated to at least flush. I bought a Sinclair primer pocket uniforming tool to ensure proper dimensions of the primer pocket.
I have measured and compared the dimensions of Ginex SRP's to CCI SRP's, Winchester, and Federal.
Ginex primers seem to fall on the high side if the dimensional charts when compared to other primers but are still within design tolerances. With all that being said, these primers (SRP's) have been very difficult to seat no matter what I do to the primer pockets while all other primers I have seat just fine.
I have not had a Ginex fail to function and chrono results are on par with all my other primers. They work and seem to work quite well, it's just getting them seated that is the issue I have.
What the heck is going on with these primers!!??

P.S.
I use my Redding single stage press to seat these primers.
I have borrowed a Sinclair and RCBS hand primer with no better results.

I shot them in my 30BR yesterday at our Tomball Gun Glub VFS Match. I shot a 250, 21x. As you can see by my #4 target, when I hit the condition, the rifle did it’s part.

This was with 35.0 grns of H4198 behind my own 112 grn bullet.

As a note, when I tested them in my 6PPC a few weeks back, accuracy was great, but with the elevated pressure loads I shoot in my 6PPC, I did pierce 2 primers.

I will use them in my 30BR.image.jpg
