Has anyone tried Unis Ginex Primers?

Specifically small rifle primers in target loads. It seems that is all that is available right now. Thanks for any replies

The box I saw pictured said "for military/5.56" so I passed worried that they would be like CCI-41s and be hard to ignite. What are you planning to load with them?

thanks for the reply. I did not know that. Our BR rifles have a strong strike but I dont really like the hard primers. I still Have enough BR primers for my needs right now but if I ever start back at the matches, They will go fast.

Just before primers got scarce I bought 5000 Ginex NATO spec large rifle primers from Grafs. They are good primers. I normally use BR-2 s for F-class matches but the Ginex are almost as good, absolutely no ignition problems with them. I run an F class Panda. The only thing is they fit somewhat tighter in the primer pockets but I can't say that I've had trouble seating them. I would assume that the small rifle primers are just as good but I can't say for sure since I haven't used them.

I've made a few purchases from Capital Cartridge. The latest was the end of January of this year. Far as I can tell, that appears to be the same site I ordered from. Maybe give them a call.

I use the LR and they shoot great. Low SD, better than CCI in every rifle except my 250AI. They do fit very tight and I have to use my ram prime to seat them easily. Caught a case of them on sale ($123) a while back

They are listed on the corporate sign for the 9702 address. Warehouse Associates, Wallisviile Ind Park
WA ph 713 461 9696? They should know if a renter is legit. Capital Cartridge does say NO in person pickup.

I will probally order the 5000 SR for $550.00 I have seen on other sites where others have ordered brass and pulled bullets primers etc from them with no issues. Capital seems to be legit

I would just like to emphasize that the Unis Ginex small rifle primers that I had were really, really tough to seat.

Also, I've seen CC1 450 and 400's available fairly often in the past month or so from several on line suppliers.

I have been using Ginex primers for a number of years with no complaints. I have used SR, LR, LR 7.62mm, LR magnum.
Ginex is a sophisticated primer manufacturer based in Bosnia. Unless Bill Clinton sent you there to bash the Serbs I doubt you could find it on a map to save your life. Helpfully, the Ginex home page has such a map. https://www.ginex.com.ba/index.htm
The products page has a drop down box that lists every primer they make. These guys even make a primer specially for the .38 Special.
I have never had a problem seating Ginex SR primers, and I've used a few. The LR varieties I have are a tad larger, it's right in the box 5,5mm. I find it useful for extending life of cases as primer pockets grow. Most cases won't give you a problem though. Forget it with my IMI 308Win match cases, which will only accept Winchester or S&B primers for the first two loads or so. But other cases? Not so much.
Especially in the LR primers, I find Ginex often gives me lower ES than other brands. Chacun a son gout.

Now: On size in the LR varieties: If you click on the drop down box on the Products page, and then click an individual primer, Ginex offers a detailed specification sheet. I've attached the one for SR.
One small thing I like about the Ginex primers I have is that each 1,000 count box has a signed inspection sheet actually signed in ink by a human. But then I'm old-fashioned.

I've done business with them on pistol brass and 124 gr 9mm bullets and had no problems. I called and talked to them before placing an order . The whole transaction was done over the phone.

I ordered a case of small pistol primers (Unis-Ginex) from 2nd Amendment Warehouse; Got to shipping about 2 weeks later, then, according to the tracking number, sat waiting for pickup for at least 2 weeks. The next I heard was delivery the next day coming from Capital Cartridge (which I had never heard of.) After a bit of research, 2A Warehouse and Capital Cartridge pretty much share the same address. All I can figure is 2A started the shipping, then moved it to Capital, which generated a new shipping label without communicating that.

Bottom line: These guys aren't fast, and contacting them is iffy (if not impossible), but they seem to be a valid shop.

On usage, I haven't gotten through my CCI stash yet, so can't comment on the Ginex primers themselves.
